Regulatory Documents

The Science Student Union operates under regulatory documents that guide and govern its activities. If you have any questions about these documents, you are welcome to contact the Union President at ordf@luna.lu.se.

Statutes

The statutes lay the foundational framework for the Science Student Union. They define the Union's structure and outline the functions of its decision-making bodies. Any changes to the statutes must be approved by two separate sessions of the Union Parliament.

Regulations

The regulations serve as a complement to the statutes. They outline the responsibilities of the Union bodies and their respective components. Changes to the regulations must be approved by the Union Parliament with a three-fourths majority.

Value Principle

The Value Principle clearly states the foundational values that the Union collectively agrees upon. It is adopted by decision of the Union Parliament.

Opinion Documents

The opinion documents outline the Union’s official positions on various issues. They serve as a foundation for student representatives, helping to ensure that the Union’s views are clearly communicated to different university bodies. These documents are adopted by decision of the Union Parliament.

Policies

Union policies govern specific aspects of the Union’s operations. Some existing policies are currently under review by the board. All policies are adopted by decision of the Union Parliament.

Guidelines

Union guidelines provide directives on how specific tasks and processes should be carried out. They are adopted by the decision of the Union Parliament.

Directives

Union directives outline how the work of committees and student councils should be conducted. They are adopted by decision of the Union Parliament.

Operational Plan

The previous year's Presidium drafts the operational plan and outlines the goals for the current board's operational year. At the beginning of each year, it is the responsibility of the board to further develop and concretise the plan. If you are interested in the concretised version, please contact the Union President at ordf@luna.lu.se.

Testaments

Each Union position has a written testament available for active members holding that role. To request the template, please email luna@luna.lu.se.
