The Science Student Union (LUNA) works to ensure your time at the Faculty of Science is not only academically enriching but also opens doors to your future career. Through the Corporate Relations Committee (CRC), under the leadership of the Head of Corporate Relations, we create opportunities for students to engage with the working world — from career fairs and guest lectures to long-term networking initiatives.
ATLAS — A World of Opportunities
ATLAS is the cornerstone of LUNA’s career initiatives — and one of the biggest student-run career fairs in Lund. Organised by the Corporate Relations Committee under the leadership of the Head of Corporate Relations, ATLAS is the result of months of dedicated planning, coordination, and ambition. It is the HCR’s main responsibility, and shaping this event is the committee’s most defining task throughout the year.

In 2025, ATLAS hosted over 40 exhibitors from across the scientific spectrum — from multinational companies and startups to public institutions and research organisations. Each year, the fair grows in size, reach, and impact, offering students an unmatched opportunity to explore internships, graduate positions, and long-term career paths.

But ATLAS is more than just a fair. It’s a platform that brings students face-to-face with their future, sparks conversations with potential employers, and opens doors to possibilities they may never have considered. Whether you're actively job-seeking or simply curious, ATLAS is your space to connect, explore, and be inspired.
Guest Lectures & Career Events
While ATLAS is our biggest initiative, it’s only part of what we offer. Throughout the year, the CRC and the Head of Corporate Relations organise career-focused events — including guest lectures, panel talks, and workshops where professionals from various fields share their experiences and advice.

These events offer a closer look at how to enter specific industries, what employers look for, and how to make the transition from university to working life. Whether it’s hearing from scientists turned entrepreneurs or researchers working in industry, each event gives practical, inspiring insights.
The Science Alumni Network
In parallel, we are building a Science Alumni Network — a growing community of former students from the Faculty of Science. The goal is to create lasting connections between students and alumni that can serve as a source of guidance, mentorship, and inspiration in the years to come.

While still in development, this network lays the foundation for long-term career support and showcases the diverse paths science students can take after graduation.
