RECREATION
The Science Student Union (LUNA) actively creates opportunities for science students to connect and enjoy their time in Lund. Whether you're into parties, sports, singing, or engaging in thoughtful discussions with fellow students, there's something for everyone.​
Committees
LUNA has three dedicated committees that organise recreational activities throughout the year:​​

The Party Committee (6m) hosts sittings and various social events for all LUNA members during the semesters, creating opportunities to meet new people and have fun.​​
The Sports Committee (Sport) offers a wide range of activities such as badminton, hiking, and ice skating—perfect for anyone wanting to stay active and try something new.​​
The Mentor Committee (FU) is responsible for organizing the Union's Novisch Period each semester, welcoming new students to the Faculty of Science and helping them become familiar with Lund University and student life in Lund.​
Student Councils​
The six Student Councils organise a wide variety of activities for students within their respective departments. These events can range from game nights and parties to weekly fika sessions, offering something for everyone.

UTOPIA
Each year, LUNA hosts a grand ball called UTOPIA to celebrate the contributions of dedicated individuals who work to improve academia. The event is organised by the UTOPIA Committee, led by the UTOPIA Ball Masters.​

JoL-Afton
The LUNA Gender and Equality Committee (JoL) regularly organises discussion evenings open to all students at the Faculty of Science. These events explore a wide range of topics, often with a scientific perspective, creating space for thoughtful dialogue and reflection.
